I don't have a problem with true authority. I do have a bone to pick with those who carry perceived power around as civil servants playing pretend power rangers to promote privatized law. The Judicial is an institution, meant to help serve justice, not to be a club where "just us" benefit. There is no amount of monetary value that should be swapped to get someone sentencing to a crime they didn't do, take the one resource once used it through. These are people whose time is a commodity. It's not rehabilitation, reformation, is relentless persecution and plea deals so that the souls that get snatched up by private police forces can get drained and eaten by the machine, the fiend that collects mistakes and unsavory deeds and digest their whole being in the name of greed. We are taught to believe these institutions stand for the righteous things, that there is no authority other than the glory of mans law. Yet so few, if they only knew, that capitalizing on the week, the wayward, the broken, it's a one way token that can only be spent in current flesh, but will come for pay back when the spirit travels to the next. So, what do we do? To stop the privatization and disinformation surrounding incarceration. When will we stand for limitations imposed on corruption that carries not the flame of the spirit, but the spiteful rath of the self.
