Amino Acids
From the production Holotrophia by Matthew
The human body requires amino acids to function. There are 22 proteogenic (protein-creating) amino acids, 9 of which are labeled 'essential' (they must be consumed). Through interconversion, a biological process whereby one thing is turned into another, the body can synthesize all non-essential amino acids--given the right amount of metabolic precursors. Join us as we delve into the amino acids of this world.
