Deleting Your Account

As per Section 6 of the StarScript Privacy Policy, a user may delete their account at any time.

Desktop Account Deletion

Use the following instructions to delete your account on desktop.

1. Login to StarScript.com;

2. Navigate to the Account page by clicking Settings > Account;

3. Click 'Delete Account';

4. Select the reason for why you are deleting your account.;

5. Type 'DELETE' into the input in all capital letters;

6. Click 'Confirm Account Deletion.';

Mobile App Account Deletion

Use the following instructions to delete your account on the StarScript mobile app on Android or iPhone.

1. Login to StarScript via the mobile app;

2. Navigate to the Account page by clicking Settings > Account & Preferences;

3. Click 'Delete Account';

4. Select the reason for why you are deleting your account.;

5. Type 'DELETE' into the input in all capital letters;

6. Click 'Confirm Account Deletion.';

Data Types Permanently Deleted Upon Account Deletion:

1. Your stage name, legal name, password hash, email, and other data associated with your username;

2. Your profile image, profile reel, connections, followers, users following, productions (retired Phase I version), experiences, job offers, and service offers;

3. Your posts, post comments, & post likes;

4. Your direct messages;

In limited circumstances, StarScript may maintain some or all of the aforementioned information in order to perform a contract between you and StarScript, to ensure the security and integrity of the information, to debug and repair errors, to exercise free speech and ensure the rights of other users, to comply with law or legal obligations, to enable internal use, or to engage in scientific, historical, or statistical research that adheres to applicable privacy laws.
